Purpose

JCI Quatre-Bornes has worked towards the sustainable development Goal 16: Peace, justice and strong institutions. In this context, JCI Quatre-Bornes celebrated the Mother’s day with the elders at Pierrefond Cheshire Home on Saturday 27 May 2017.

Overview

This peace is possible project aimed at promoting intergenerational exchange, bringing more dialogue and cooperation between our young people, adults and community elders. Through partnership with Cheshire Home and the help of generous sponsors, our members have demonstrated the benefits of their peace actions, enabling them to explore the common problems elders face and tackled them together, thus participating in the emergence of sustainable solutions.

I thank the Direction and the staffs of Pierrefonds Cheshire Home for collaborating with us. I thank all the JCI and Non JCI members for supporting us in making this event.

A special thanks goes to Senator Hemant Sonoo, National President Asha, 2017 JCI Quatre-Bornes Local Treasurer Vrinda, Member Drishtee  Chadee, Mr. Ram, Guest Mrs. Neerala and Rajasthan Handloom House for sponsoring this memorable event.

Results

A lively session with participation of jci members, jci non-members, staffs and the people from the home.
