At the Barcelona Congress, JCI President Georges A. Bouverat reported with pride that JCI?s new corporate slogan, "Entrepreneurs in Action," had been enthusiastically accepted and promoted throughout the world as a powerful marketing tool. ?The Corporate Identity Program is being implemented with overwhelming effectiveness. In my travels, I was able to see that the new slogan was received with much enthusiasm. With our combined efforts and creative minds, we have seized many avenues in which to display our slogan?from our JCI letterhead, website, activities, projects and seminars, to a change in our very own attitudes! ?Not even in my wildest dreams did I foresee that this program would be implemented so fast. Within a year, almost all Junior Chambers around the world will be under the same logo. I would like to thank all National Presidents who have supported this program and congratulate them for their hard work. ?At this juncture, I wish to challenge every chapter around the globe to implement the Corporate Identity Program.? The corporate identity program?with the corporate logo to be used at all levels of Junior Chamber?is being promoted on JCI?s website, ?eNews? mailings, ?Friday Focus? and in all communications with Junior Chamber members. JCI created a new logo for each NOM with the JCI corporate logo and the name of the country above it. JCI also designed corporate pins displaying the corporate logo for individual members. During the Area Conferences, JCI President Bouverat distributed nearly 100,000 new member pins to all 103 national organizations to advance the one-logo program. Following the conferences, additional member pins were distributed.
