The Summit Resolution Session, Poverty Simulation and Evening Activity require special registration, which can be completed while registering for the overall event.

JCI's primary partnership event, the 2017 JCI Global Partnership Summit is open to members and nonmembers alike. 
There is no limit to the number of participants that can register from a JCI National Organization—any and all members are encouraged to participate. All participants must register in advance, as on-site registration is not recommended.

Visa Procedure

Some visitors to the United States of America may need a visa to enter the country. Please follow the procedure to obtain a visa to attend the 2017 JCI Global Partnership Summit:


  1. Verify with the United States embassy in your country if a visa is required to visit the United States
  2. Register for the 2017 JCI Global Partnership Summit
  3. Pay the registration fee for the Summit by credit card or wire transfer.

After registration is complete, a confirmation email will be sent to complete the letter of confirmation, which will be needed for the visa application.

The confirmation letter is intended to facilitate participant’s travel and visa arrangements only. The confirmation letter in no way implies the provision of any support, financial or otherwise. 





Please note that the deadline to request a refund due to inability to obtain a visa is July 17, 2017. Please refer to the refund policy below for more details. 


Refund Policy
 
JCI will issue a partial refund of a Summit registration in the event that a delegate’s visa request is denied by the United States consulate or embassy. If a delegate’s request is denied, he or she may seek a 50% refund of his or her Summit registration. This request must be made no later than July 17, 2017. After this date, JCI will not refund any Summit registration.

If a delegate would like to request a 50% refund because of visa denial before July 17, 2017 requests may be submitted to events@jci.cc. This request must include the notice of denial from the consulate or embassy.

The JCI Global Partnership Summit is an English-speaking event, and sessions will not be translated into other languages. Note: JCI Japan provides simultaneous interpretation for Japanese-speaking delegates during general sessions.
