Wisconsinites head south to help victims

Red Cross sends volunteers to Alabama, seeks specialized aid
The Greater Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin Tri-County chapters of the American Red Cross are dispatching teams of volunteers to Alabama to assist in disaster relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

. . . The Greenfield Junior Chamber (JCI Greenfield) also is assisting relief efforts by collecting items such as bottled water, blankets, non-perishable food items and cleaning supplies at the pavilion in Konkel Park, 5151 W. Layton Ave., Greenfield.
