PRIME

PRIME, The JCI Coaching Course,is a two-and-a-half-day seminar and the first-level training course forJunior Chamber International coaches. This course can be your practicalguide to implementing sound personal and leadership development programsin order to create positive change. PRIME builds confidence in presentingcomplex information in clear and engaging ways and increases the abilityto motivate others. Additionally it develops communication skills and teachespeople to look at new situations with an open and positive mindset.

Guidelines and criteria. In addition to its availability at some JCI Area Conferences, PRIME can be presented within national organizations. To secure approval from JCI, you must follow guidelines and criteria outlined in this publication. The guidelines are designed to help establish and maintain a standard of excellence and to guarantee maximum impact of this unique adult learning experience.

The participants. PRIME is designedto present new and interesting challenges to members who have little or no experience in training but who want to develop coaching skills for usein their chapters, community, and workplaces. Any member interested incoaching or individual development is welcome to attend this course. Each PRIME course must be attended by no less than 12 individuals. All participants must complete the official registration form included in the PRIME promotionalflyer. These forms will be used by the Head Coach to assess the levelsof knowledge and learning styles of the participants.

There will be a fee of US$100 for members

Length. A total of 24 hours in 2½ days of training must be allocated for PRIME. Additionally, participantswill be required to work on assignments at night. PRIME participants should plan no other activities for the duration of the course.

General. PRIME courses may be conducted as a single national event or in conjunction with a national convention,conference, or any other national meeting. National organizations are encouraged to invite neighboring countries to participate in their PRIME courses.
