Collaborate with thought leaders to create concrete global change at JCI’s premier partnership event.

From July 25 to 27, JCI members, friends and international partners will gather in New York City united as leaders of business, civil society and government to explore solutions to the challenges of our world.

Exciting new updates have been made to this year’s action-packed program:

  1. Engage with the experts
Michael Elliott, CEO of the ONE campaign, joins the line-up of captivating speakers for this year’s Summit. ONE is a grassroots advocacy and campaigning organization backed by more than 2.5 million people that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. ONE raises public awareness and encourages political leaders to support smart, cost-effective policies and programs that are saving lives, helping send children to school and improving futures. Cofounded by Bono, leader singer of U2 and other campaigners, ONE works closely with African activists and policymakers.

“Michael is a great communicator as well as an inspiring leader. Brainpower is more important than passion in the fight against extreme poverty, but he has both,” Bono said.

Check out the Summit program for a complete list of speakers.
  2. Reserve your spot now for the pre-Summit workshop
This pre-summit workshop is the perfect way to kick-off your Summit experience. At this workshop, delegates will dig deeper into the concepts of the JCI Active Citizen Framework. Discuss ways to properly engage your community by involving stakeholders as early as possible to expand your impact. Make sure your concrete actions have a specific plan including a timeline, budget, available volunteers and a marketing strategy. Share your experiences about sustaining community projects and discuss the rewards and challenges of this final step of the framework. Spaces are limited so email External Relations Manager Christine Albrecht to sign up for the pre-Summit workshop.
  3. Turn your passion into action during the community project
Hit the streets of New York City to create a lasting community impact with your fellow Summit delegates. A committee made up of representatives from partner organizations such as the UN Foundation, Nothing But Nets, the Global Poverty Project, JCI Philippine-NY and the United Nations Association, have been working to plan a fun, interactive afternoon event in the New York community. Let’s bring the meeting into the neighborhood to advance the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in this bustling city.

Register now for the JCI Global Partnership and visit the Summit website to learn more about this outstanding event. See you in New York!
