Candidates for international JCI offices represent the diversity and shared passion for positive change that unite us all. At the 2011 JCI World Congress in Brussels, Belgium, National Presidents and Chief Delegates from JCI member nations across the world will assemble to elect the leaders of the organization for 2012. Your chosen representatives will select from the following list of candidates the future leaders of the organization, including 2012 JCI Vice Presidents, Executive Vice Presidents, and the 2012 JCI President. Read on for the candidates’ bios and discuss the future of JCI with them in person at the 2012 Candidates Presentation and Caucus on Thursday, November 3 in Brussels. The candidates appear in alphabetical order by last name and are sorted by the position for which they applied. For the Office of JCI President

 Candidate: Bertolt Daems
 National Organization: JCI the Netherlands
 Born January 3, 1973, in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, Bertolt Daems holds a master’s degree in building construction and works as the CEO of RnR group, a management consultancy company. He resides in Wageningen, The Netherlands, with his wife Veronique, their twin sons Rutger and Rogier and their daughter Fabienne. Daems joined JCI Mariken in November 2003. He became Local President in 2005 and Deputy National President in 2008. In 2008 he also served as JCI the Netherlands National President. At the international level, Bertolt Daems served as JCI Vice President in 2009, JCI Executive Vice President assigned to Europe in 2010 and was appointed Chief Executive Assistant to the President in 2011. He has attended twelve JCI Area Conferences and three JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 68118. He speaks English, German and Dutch.  Candidate: Paschal Dike 
National Organization: JCI Nigeria
 Born November 7, 1976, in Imo State Nigeria, Paschal Dike holds a master’s degree in Industrial Microbiology and works as Senior Manager of a fire and security systems company. He resides in Lagos, Nigeria with his wife Chinyelu and their son David. Paschal joined JCI Trans-Amadi in 2003. He became Local President in 2004, National Vice President in 2005, National Executive Vice President in 2006 and National President in 2008. At the international level, Dike served as JCI Vice President in 2009 and is currently serving as 2011 JCI Growth and Development Commissioner for Africa and the Middle East. He has attended six JCI Area Conferences and four JCI World Congresses. He speaks English. Candidate: Susana Lugo Rolón National Organization: JCI Paraguay
 Born on November 7, 1972 in Encarnacion, Paraguay, Susana Lugo Rolón holds a doctorate in educational administration and a degree in accounting and other administration. She is a specialist in educational administration, financial management and government control. She works as Chief Financial Officer at a National University where she also serves as a professor and is a partner of a company providing professional services. She resides in Encarnación, Republic of Paraguay, with her family. Lugo joined JCI Encarnacion in 1997. She became Local President in 2001 and National President in 2004. At the international level, Lugo served as JCI Vice President in 2007. She is also currently a member of the JCI Audit Committee. She has attended nine JCI Area Conferences and six JCI World Congresses. She has been honored as JCI Senator No. 67368. She speaks English and Spanish. Candidate: Chiara Milani
 National Organization: JCI Italy
 Born April 24, 1976, in Castellanza (Varese), Italy, Chiara Lucia Milani holds a degree in Linguistics and has works as a qualified professional journalist. She is the Vice Director of the News of Rete 55 TV Channel. She resides in Busto Arsizio, Varese, Italy, with her husband Rudy. Milani joined JCI Varese in 2000. She became Local Secretary General in 2004 and National President in 2009. At the international level, Milani served as JCI Vice President in 2010 and as JCI Executive Assistant to the President for Europe in 2011. She has attended six JCI Area Conferences, six JCI World Congresses and three JCI Global Partnership Summits. She has been honored as JCI Senator No. 68122 and she is a JCI Foundation Phil Pugsley donor. She speaks English and Italian. Candidate: Victorien Tougouma
 National Organization: JCI Burkina Faso
 Born June 11, 1973 in Ouagadougou, Kadiogo, Burkina Faso, Victorien Tougouma holds a master’s degree in transport and he works as a manager of a freight company. He resides in Ouagadougou, Kadiogo, Burkina Faso, with his wife Estelle and their children Alex, Axel and Alan. Tougouma joined JCI Ouaga Excellence in 2001. He became Local President in 2003 and National President in 2008. At the international level, Tougouma has served as JCI Vice President in 2009 and Africa and the Middle East Development Council Chairman in 2010. He has attended three JCI Leadership Summits at the UN, seven JCI Area Conferences and seven JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 64912 and is a JCI Foundation Phil Pugsley Patron. He speaks French and a little English. Candidate: Batbayar Ulziidelger 
National Organization: JCI Mongolia
 Born September 17, 1972, in Choibalsan, Dornod, Mongolia, Batbayar Ulziidelger holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering of electronics and business administration and works as director of Bat Tour Travel Company. He resides in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, with his wife Altantsetseg Buyannemekh, and their sons Itgel and Usukhbayar. Batbayar Ulziidelger joined JCI Ulaanbaatar in 2003. He became Local President in 2007, National Executive Vice President in 2008 and National President in 2009. At the international level, Batbayar Ulziidelger served as JCI Vice President in 2010 and was appointed Treasurer in 2011. He has attended five JCI Area Conferences and five JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 67847. He speaks English, Japanese & Russian. Candidate: John Weber National Organization: JCI USA
 Born May 30, 1974, in Minot, North Dakota, USA, John Weber holds a Master of Management degree and works as a Business Intelligence and Application Analyst Team Lead for a software development company. He resides in Bismarck, North Dakota, USA with his wife Lisa and their son Noah and daughter Abigail. Weber joined JCI Mandan in 1998. He became Local President in 2000, State President in 2004 and National President in 2009. At the international level, Weber served as JCI Treasurer in 2010 and JCI General Legal Counsel in 2011. He has attended one JCI Area Conference and four JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 65396. He speaks English. For the Office of JCI Vice President 
Seventeen 2012 JCI Vice Presidents will be elected, four assigned to Africa and the Middle East, four assigned to Asia and the Pacific, four assigned to the Americas and five assigned to Europe. Candidate: Darius Atsoo National Organization: JCI Togo Born October 25, 1972 in Atakpamé, Togo, Darius Kokou Atsoo holds a special advanced degree in business law and a vocational degree in law and works as managing director of a law firm. He resides in Lome, Togo with wife Régine Ayaba Nyonufia Gbone and son Daryl Jay Atsoo. Darius joined JCI Lomé Université in 1997 and founded JCI Lome Prestige in 2000. He became its second Local President in 2002 and JCI Togo National President in 2010. At the international level, Darius was named Special Assistant to the World President in charge of Sponsorship and Finance for Africa and Middle East. He has attended two JCI Area Conferences and one JCI World Congress. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 67797. He speaks French and English. Candidate: Lizby Casas-Forero National Organization: JCI Colombia Lizby Casas-Forero was born on September 18, 1974 in Bogota, Colombia. She received a specialization in human resource management and serves as an independent distributor of the multinational Nuskin Enterprises. She lives in Bogota, Colombia, along with her husband Luis Hernan and her daughters Jessica Maria Angelica and Isabella. Casas-Forero joined JCI Bogota in 1995. She served as Local President in 2004, National Executive Vice President in 2008 and National President in 2011. At the international level, Casas-Forero has attended eight JCI Area Conferences and two JCI World Congresses. She was honored as JCI Senator No. 70023. She speaks English and Spanish. Candidate: Marvin Andrew Cuschieri National Organization: JCI Malta Born June 11, 1983, in Pietá, Malta, Marvin Cuschieri holds a master’s degree in European studies, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in International Relations and heads the Business & Investment Consultancy Unit at Malta Enterprise. He resides in Zebbiegh, Malta. Cuschieri joined JCI Lom de la Vallette in 2007. He became a National Officer in 2009, Deputy President & JCI Malta Vice President International in 2010 and National President in 2011. At the international level, Cuschieri has attended JCI Area Conferences, Congresses and Academies. He speaks Maltese, English, Italian and basic German. Candidate: Mahesh Raj Dahal National Organization: JCI Nepal Born March 20, 1972 in Shardanagar chitwan, Nepal, Mahesh Raj Dahal holds a master’s degree in political science and sociology and works as Executive Director of Development Consultant for stairway management. He resides in Kathmandu, Nepal with his wife Prava and son Gaurav. Mahesh joined Shardanagar Jaycees in 1999, became National Executive Vice President in 2005, Training Commissioner in 2003 and 2004, Advisor of the JCI Nepal Training Institute in 2007, 2010 National Secretary General in 2010 and 2011 JCI Nepal National President. He has attended two JCI Area Conferences. He has been honored as JCI Senator No 70366. He speaks English and Nepali. Candidate: Jorge Galmes Aguzzi National Organization: JCI Argentina Born October 27, 1980, in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and works as Executive Director of AVA, a business consulting company. He resides in Rosario, Argentina. Jorge joined JCI Rosario in 2003. He became Local President in 2007 and National President in 2010. At the international level, Jorge has attended six JCI Area Conferences and two JCI World Congresses. He speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. Candidate: Frédéric Paul Gomis National Organization: JCI Senegal Born July 17, 1976 in Dakar, Senegal, Frédéric Paul Gomis is a computer and telecommunication engineer and holds a master’s degree in management. He works as managing director of a company and is a consultant for others. He resides in Dakar, Senegal with his wife Stéphanie Odile and their two sons Samuel Marie and David Auguste. Frédéric joined JCI Dakar-Avenir in 2005 where he was one of the founding members. He became Local President in 2008 and National President in 2011. At the international level, he has attended two JCI Area Conferences. He speaks French and Spanish. Candidate: Nader Hadj Fredj National Organization: JCI Tunisia Born June 1, 1974, in Monastir, Tunisia, Nader Hadj Fredj holds a master’s degree in management accounting and a diploma in finance and accounting and works as an auditor and account officer. He resides in Ksibet el Mediouni, Monastir, Tunisia with his wife Rachida and their two sons Nour and Beyrem. Nader joined JCI Ksibet el Mediouni as a founding member in 1999. He became Local President in 2002, National Executive Vice President in 2004 and National Legal Council in 2010 and National President in 2011. At the international level, Nader has attended JCI Academy in 2010, three JCI Area Conferences and three JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 70183. He speaks French and some English. Candidate: Noriyuki Imaizumi National Organization: JCI Japan Born in Japan on August 21, 1972, Noriyuki Imaizumi holds a bachelor’s degree in medicine from Hoshi University in Japan and is President of Imaizumi Pharmacy Ltd., in Saitama, Japan. He currently resides in Saitama. Imaizumi joined JCI Chichibu in 2001 and became Local President in 2009. In 2010, he served as Chairperson of the JCI Academy Commission of JCI Japan. At the international level, Imaizumi is now serving as Personal Assistant to the JCI President. He has attended seven JCI Area Conferences and two JCI World Congresses. He speaks English and Japanese. Candidate: Mohamed Makkaoui National Organization: JCI Morocco Born February 5, 1975 in Marrakech, Morocco, Mohamed Makkaoui is a candidate for a doctorate in management science and holds a Masters of Management and a Master of Science in Education. He also works as a teacher, researcher and training consultant for several firms and training institutions. He resides in Casablanca, Morocco. Makkaoui joined JCI Marrakech in 2006. He became Local President of JCI Casablanca in 2008 and National President in 2010. At the international level, Makkaoui is a JCI International Training Fellow. He has attended three JCI Area Conferences and three JCI World Congresses. He was honored with the title of JCI Senator No. 69718. He speaks French and English, Arabic and Dutch. Candidate: Samuel Moyo National Organization: JCI Zimbabwe Born on April 22, 1974, in Zvishavane, Zimbabwe Samuel Moyo holds a diploma in banking from the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe and undertook a Leadership Development Program with the University of Zimbabwe. He works as a Senior Manager for a Zimbabwean Commercial Bank. He resides in Harare, Zimbabwe, with his wife and their three daughters Anesu, Anashe, Amtjilani and son Anotida. Moyo joined JCI Bulawayo in 2003. He became Local President in 2006, National Vice President in 2007, National Executive Vice President in 2009 and National President in 2010. At the international level, Moyo served as JCI Africa and the Middle East Development Council Councilor in 2011. He has attended three JCI Area Conferences and one JCI World Congress as well as one JCI Global Partnership Summit. He speaks English. 
Candidate: Kolawole Oredipe
 National Organization: JCI Nigeria
 Born February 17, 1973, in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, Kolawole Oredipe holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Applied Geology and a post-graduate diploma degree in linguistics and communication studies. He works with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria as a Senior Editor and the Radio Nigeria State Correspondent in Bayelsa State. He resides in Yenagoa and Ikeja, Lagos State, with his wife Oluwakemi and their son Damilare. Kolawole joined JCI Port Harcourt in 2002. He became Local President in 2005, National Vice President in 2006, National Executive Vice President in 2007 and 2011 JCI Nigeria Director of Training. At the international level, Kolawole became a certified International Graduate, in 2009. He has attended seven JCI Area Conferences and one JCI World Congress. He speaks English. Candidate: Michael Rivera National Organization: JCI Puerto Rico Born February 19, 1983, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Michael Rivera Irizarry holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a Juris Doctor in Law. He works as a lawyer for a private firm and is a university professor. He resides in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico with his family. Rivera joined JCI in 2001. He co-founded JCI Colegial, a Local Organization at his university and became Local President in 2002. He became National President in 2009. At the international level, Rivera served as JCI American Development Council Commissioner in 2010. He has attended six JCI Area Conferences, two JCI World Congresses and one JCI Global Partnership Summit. He is a JCI Foundation Phil Pugsley Donor. He speaks English and Spanish. Candidate: Franklin Saltos Haon National Organization: JCI Ecuador Franklin Saltos Haon was born on November 28, 1974 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He received a Specialization in and Master of Criminal Science and Criminology and has served as Attorney General. He lives in Guayaquil, Ecuador with his wife JCI Sen. Gina Jacome and his sons Andrew Franklin, Franklin Armondo, Paula Maythem Emilia and Lucianna. Saltos Haon joined JCI Urdesa in 2003. He held several local offices until he became Local President in 2007 and National President in 2010. Internationally, he served as JCI American Development Committee Commissioner during 2011. He has attended four Area Conferences and one JCI World Congress. He was honored as JCI Senator No. 70071. He speaks Spanish. Candidate: Jack Shao National Organization: JCI Taiwan Born August 10, 1976 in Taipei City, Taiwan, Jack Shao holds a master’s degree in accounting and finance and works as managing director of a finance company. He resides in both Taipei and Taichung, Taiwan. Shao joined JCI Wen Shin in 2005 and became Local President in 2011. Shao was also National IA Chairman in 2009. At the international level, Shao has attended five JCI Area Conferences and three JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 69806. He speaks English and Mandarin. Candidate: Seung Sup Shin National Organization: JCI Korea Born February 1, 1973 in Seoul, Korea, Seung Sup Shin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and works as director of the Direct Mailing Service company. He resides in Seoul, Korea, with his wife, Taeim, and their daughter Jeewon. Seung Sup Shin joined JCI Korea-Seoul in 2005. He became Local President in 2010. At the international level, Seung Sup Shin served as a member of the 61st JCI World Congress Organizing Committee in 2006. He has attended five JCI Area Conferences and four JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 67271. He speaks English, Japanese and Korean. Candidate: Takor Takor National Organization: JCI Cameroon Born March 17, 1978, in Limbe, Cameroon, Takor Takor holds an Master’s degree in International Business and works as Administrative Manager of an electic company. He resides in Limbe, Cameroon with his wife Berylann. Takor Takor joined JCI Limbe Atlantic in 2006. He became Local President in 2007 and National President in 2011. At the international level, Takor Takor has attended five JCI Area Conferences and three JCI World Congresses. He speaks English and French. Candidate: Nikita Topanou National Organization: JCI Bénin Born October 12, 1975, in Abomey-Calavi, Bénin Republic, Nikita Topanou holds a master’s degree in environmental chemistry and works as Managing Director of an NGO called Prevention Research Action.He resides in Abomey-Calavi, Bénin with his wife Olivia and their daughter Stéphie and son Enoch. Topanou joined JCI Ocean in 2001. He became Local President in 2006, and National President in 2011. At the international level Topanou has attended two JCI Area Conferences. He was a graduate at the 7th African Academy of Leaders and at the 24th JCI Academy in Japan. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 69818. He speaks French and English. Candidate: Jukka Vainionpää
 National Organization: JCI Finland
 Born August 15, 1974, in Lahti, Finland, Jukka Vainionpää holds a master’s degree in food science and works as account manager of a food and beverage company. He resides in Lahti, Finland with his wife Hanna-Kaisa. He joined JCI Mikkeli in 2004. He became Local President in 2007 and National Executive Vice President in 2009. At the international level, Vainionpää has attended five JCI Area Conferences and five JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 70510. He speaks Finnish, English, Swedish and some German. Candidate: Robbert van Waart National Organization: JCI the Netherlands Born May 15, 1973 in Schiedam, The Netherlands, Robbert van Waart holds a Bachelor of Information Science degree and works as Director of Crew Products and Operations for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, part of AirFranceKLM. He resides in Delft, The Netherlands, with his wife Hester and their son Floris and daughter Josephine. Robbert joined JCI De Delflanden in October 2007. He became Local Vice President in 2009 and served as Local President 2010. In 2011, he was JCI the Netherlands National President. At the international level, Robbert has been to several Area Conferences and a JCI Global Partnership Summit. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 70308. He speaks English, German and Dutch. Candidate: George Vouvakos National Organization: JCI Cyprus Born August 19, 1977, in Lamaca, Cyprus, George Vouvakos holds a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing and works as managing director and publisher in his company. He resides in Lamaca, Cyprus with his wife Vasia, and their sons, Anthony and Constantine. Vouvakos joined JCI Cyprus in 2005. He became Local President in 2006 and National President in 2009. At the international level, Vouvakos has attended three JCI Area Conferences and one JCI World Congress. He speaks English and Greek. Candidate: Ken Wong National Organization: JCI Hong Kong Born August 12, 1975 in Hong Kong, Ken Wong holds a master’s degree in transport studies and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He works as managing director of an investment company. He resides in Hong Kong with his wife Veron and their sons Timothy, Christopher and Anthony. Ken joined JCI Yuen Long in 2001. He became Local President in 2006 and National President in 2009. At the international level, Ken served as 2010 JCI Executive Assistant to the President for Asia and the Pacific and 2011 JCI Growth and Development Commission Chairman. He has attended seven JCI Area Conferences and five JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 68317. He speaks English and Chinese. Candidate: Jean Pier Xavier de Liz National Organization: JCI Brazil Born February 19, 1979, in Curitibanos, SC, Brazil, Jean Pier Xavier de Liz holds a special degree in people management and strategic business management and works at a co-owned training company. He resides in Rio do Sul, SC, Brasil, with his wife Franciane. Jean Pier joined JCI Rio do Sul in 1998. He became Local President in 2005, and National President of JCI Brazil in 2011. He has attended five JCI Area Conferences and three JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 68966. He speaks Portuguese and a little English and Spanish.
