Tommi Wu of Hong Kong named 2011 JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award Finalist
Tommi Wu of Hong Kong was named a finalist for the 2011 JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (JCI CYEA) for his work with DeLighTable Interactive Ltd. JCI (Junior Chamber International) honors outstanding young entrepreneurs under the age of 40 each year. These individuals use creativity and innovation to establish a business or improve an existing venture while adhering to the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Wu turned a visionary invention into a business reality with DeLighTable Interactive Ltd., which creates digital interactive screens for bars, restaurants, nightclubs, hotels and other exhibition venues. The screens are used to enhance customer experience through digital entertainment and also serve as a portal for brand management and advertising. Wu conducted extensive research while creating the technology behind his digital panels, which resulted in a simpler design, making them more affordable and easier to use. DeLighTable follows a simple employee management system based on ancient Chinese philosophy and allows employees to achieve goals in their own natural way, without being inhibited by the management. Wu’s creativity, vision and adherence to the principles of CSR continue to ensure the advancement of the company. DeLighTable looks to expand their venue range by creating new panels for other types of event spaces, diversifying their customer base.
