Record Number of JCI Official Courses at 2009 Area Conferences
With more JCI Official Courses offered than ever, the Area Conferences are the ideal opportunity to build your skills. Look for JCI Designer. JCI Trainer, JCI Presenter, JCI Admin, JCI Achieve, JCI Head Trainer and the launch of the new JCI CSR. Some courses require previous certification levels while others are open to any member. Update: 2009 JCI TOYP and JCI CYEA
The name of “The JCI Outstanding Young Persons (JCI TOYP) of the World” Program has now been changed back to “The JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons (JCI TOYP) of the World” Program, which adds the word “Ten.” Please note the change, and use the name accordingly.

According to JCI’s worldwide sponsorship agreement with Flanders District of Creativity (FDC) regarding the JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (JCI CYEA), we kindly ask JCI Organizations that run this program to use the FDC logo in all JCI CYEA material.

JCI Trainer Dies in Car Crash
Dr. Basile Nukunu of JCI Mali died in a car crash while on the way home from the JCI Africa and Middle East Development Council West Meeting. Three other JCI members were in the car with him, one of whom is still in critical condition. Dr. Nukunu was the Head Trainer for the JCI Presenter Course and Assistant Trainer for the JCI Trainer Course at the meeting. Please send messages of condolences to the JCI Mali National President.
