JCI Active Citizens Celebrate with Diverse Projects
For more than half a century, members of our organization have celebrated the achievements of JCI every December 11. This year JCI National Organizations committed to commemorating the day by launching new projects related to advancing the UN MDGs.

A Welcome Message from the 2012 JCI President
2012 JCI President Bertolt Daems expresses his ambitious goals and vibrant passion for JCI in the coming year. Take a look at how he plans to help JCI turn this passion into action through creating positive change in communities worldwide. Help celebrate President Daems’s birthday on January 3rd by sending a net to save a life through his JCI Nothing But Nets birthday campaign.

Moving Forward As One Global Team
2011 JCI President Kentaro Harada took some time to reflect on all of JCI's accomplishments throughout the past year. Look back on 2011 as he thanks those involved for all of their collaborative efforts worldwide to create a better world in 2011.

New Version of National and Local Organizations Websites Available Now
The new websites are now being tested and there are many exciting features. While the URL is the same as before (www.jci.cc/local/name of organization), these new websites have a similar look and feel to the JCI members site and enable administrators to use all of the content from the international members site for your Local and National sites. The new versions also allow you to link your social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Youtube) to your Local or National website. There are also JCI Training features on the site, and the database automatically sends updates to the JCI members site. New customizability features mean you can pick different backgrounds and headers to personalize your Organization’s site. To administer the new site, just go to the local site, click on MY JCI, then CONTROL PANEL.

If you have trouble editing your website or need a site created for your Organization, email info@jci.cc.

JCI Operation Hope
In response to the devastating floods in the Philippines, JCI members have activated Operation Hope to assist in the recovery. Donate now to support the reconstruction efforts in the Philippines.
Take Action in 2012 Through JCI Programs
In 2012, JCI is looking to Local Organizations and members at the grass roots level to take action and increase our impact. While each JCI Program is unique, they all support the JCI Mission by providing opportunities for young people to create positive change. Read more about the exciting changes and latest components of JCI Programs for the new year.

JCI TOYP and JCI CYEA Participation Deadlines
JCI National Organizations running a national program for JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons or JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award in 2012 must register the competition with the JCI Programs Manager. In order to receive important information and deadline reminders, email programs@jci.cc indicating which programs will be conducted in 2012 and include the name and email of the coordinator for each program by January 31, 2012.
