JA-Africa Region and JCI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2007. JA organizations teach enterprise, entrepreneurship, and economic literacy, focusing on the importance of market-driven economies; the role of business in the economy; the relevance of education in the workplace; the impact of economics on a child's future; and the commitment of business to social, environmental, and ethical issues.

"In the service of democracy, peace and development" – this is the motto that the Hanns Seidel Foundation applies to its work and mission. The motto applies not only for its commitment in Germany, especially in Bavaria, of course, but also abroad.
The Hanns Seidel Foundation's manifold responsibilities are concentrated in four specialist departments:
a)Academy for Politics and Current Affairs;
b)Institute for Adult Civic Education;
c)Institute for International Contact and Cooperation; and,
d)Scholarship Organization.
At present Hanns Seidel Foundation assists financially the Regional Office of JCI in Africa located in Togo. |
